A MONSTER OR A VICTIM?

Whoever we ask, people say that they don't care the appearance, they just care people's character and heart. But the truth is generally people care the appearance when they see a new person. Frankenstein who was written by Mary Shelley was a person who made people feel uncomfortable. Frankenstein who referred to his creator's name was known as a monster by most of people. Accually, he was a sample of people's isolation. In comparison with his being monster, fears, incomprehenson and differences in people's mind made him a victim. Biases affected people's feeling about Frankenstein. He was a victim of society's isolation and fears.
When we count the reasons which make Frankenstein a victim was his appearence. He had a ugly face and a very big and horroble body. Society didn't accept him, they isolated him from people. Because they was afraid of his monster appearence, they couldn't trust on him. People usully feel a fear to humans who are different for them. Generally different people's first imprassions are curiosity or fear. Because of Frankenstein's monster body, this feeling became a big fear. People didn't want to know him, they didn't want to accept him, because this fear didn't let them do that. In this context, Frankenstein's bad appearence made people moved him away.
Even though Frankenstein had a monster body, oddly, his heart was so lovely and he needed people's love and interest. In his heart, he was not a monster, he just feel like a child who needs mother's love. Like every children who are left by their family, Frankenstein didn't understand the people's behaviors to him. Creator of Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein, didn't want to take care of him, because after created him he realized Frankenstein was not a normal person. After seeing him, he was afraid of him, and he escaped. He didn't want to concede that he generated a monster. He got his monster away, while Frankenstein was waiting just some love from him. Also because of people's fears for him, he was all alone. This loneliness made Frankenstein more cruel and made him more isolated.
Frankenstein's another difference which made him a victim of being a monster was that his body that was never fall ill. Victor Frankenstein intended to create a perfect body without any ilness. By this way,  wanted to find an immortal life. This facility made Frankenstein more different from people and made him more far them away. In a world that people didn't want to face with him, Frankenstein had to live forever. Those differences drifted Frankenstein become a monster and victim.
Mary Shelley's main reason of writing this character was to feel an experience of being God and creating a human. Mary Shelley lived many big problems in her life such as her mother's dying. She wanted to ask to God about this problems. She queried her life's meaning to God. In the book scientist Victor Frankenstein wanted to be a God of person and manage his life. Through this book Mary Shelley showed the results of this wish to us and to herself. In her pen, Frankenstein character became a pathetic monster.

On the whole, Frankenstein was a victim of people's biases. A horroble appearence, people's fear's, cruel differences between him and society made him a victim who could live a lovely life. After Frankenstein just remained a pathetic story of a monster and victim.
